Position Overview: The Director of Development will lead comprehensive fundraising efforts from assessment and planning, growth, stewardship, and relationship building, to long-term sustainability—ensuring alignment with the American Youth Philharmonic Orchestras mission. Reporting directly to the Executive Director and actively engaging the AYPO Board of Directors, while creating the strategy, execution, and implementation of fundraising initiatives encompassing major gifts, annual giving, corporate partnerships, event management, donor stewardship, communications, and community engagement. This role requires a self-starter with strong strategic planning skills to drive sustainable revenue growth and oversee development operations.  See
