Job DescriptionThe University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, located in Baltimore, is currently accepting applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor for the Fall 2025 semester to teach a day section of Civil Procedure (approximately 60-75 students) and a section of Federal Courts. Civil procedure is a 4-credit required course for first year law students, covering jurisdictional concepts and the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. Federal Courts is a 3-credit upper-level elective. Both courses would be taught in person. UMB is a public university and constituent institution of the University System of Maryland.
