Executive Director
City Wildlife is the District of Columbia’s first and only wildlife rehabilitation center. We opened in 2013 and treat from 1,500-2,000 sick, injured or orphaned animals each year with the goal of releasing these animals back to the wild. We handle all native species except bear, deer, mice, rats, and rabies vector species. Our center is well equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and has four full-time employees, including a wildlife veterinarian, all of whom share our goals of humane care, respect for the wildness of animals, support for the protection of wildlife habitat, and belief in the importance of public education.
