Summary: Help create, maintain, update, and track expenses billed against Purchase Orders.
Location: Remote
Anticipated pay rate: $28/hr. Extended experience: up to $32/hr. if experience exceeds expectations
Principal Functions:
Act as liaison between accounts payable and the contracts team especially for when there are invoice discrepancies (i.e. if a contractor is overbilled, invoice amount does not match payment schedule in PO, etc.)
Clear out invoices in the contracts invoicing inbox
Update the Contracting Guide (use Laura/Julia???s Contract SOP guide as a resource)
Use the Requisition list in JAMIS to ensure that every active contract has a corresponding PO
Develop standard operating procedures (using SOP template that Laura used) to record the day-to-day roles and responsibilities accomplished by the temp employee
Qualifications:
Experience processing invoices, Purchase Orders, and general contracts administration experience
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel
Excellent interpersonal skills
Experience in database management or inventory management preferred
Experience working with spreadsheets and data tracking preferred
Ability to manage diverse priorities with positive outcomes
Willingness to work on projects across the department
