BENEFITS MANAGER Fisherville, VA
The Benefits Manager will be responsible for the administration of benefits programs including medical, dental, life insurance, retirement and voluntary products; as well as FMLA, ADA, Disability and other leaves. Develops, implements, administers, and maintains benefit policies and procedures. Ensure programs meet team member needs, comply with legal requirements and are cost effective. The Benefit Manager develops benefits communications and supports team members on benefits related issues.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field preferred. CEBS certification preferred
Requirements:
3-5 years in the administration of multiple benefits plans required. To include experience with vendor file feed interface.
Knowledge, Skill & Ability Requirements:
Group insurance and risk management principles and strategies.
Principles, practices, and procedures of benefits administration.
Various retirement plan approaches including 401(k) and non-qualified plans.
Microsoft Office and Benefit software
Skill in:
Managing and motivating administrative employees
Maintaining records and preparing reports, documents, and insurance filings.
Designing insurance related materials for internal and external customers.
Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications to produce correspondence, reports, electronic communication, spreadsheets and databases.
