Summary: Responsible for inputting data and making changes from existing data figures (SL) into new, financial digital platforms (JAMIS). Principal duties include inputting data from AP/AR documents into digital spreadsheets and JAMIS platform.
Location: Remote
Principal Functions:
Collects, enters, and updates data in spreadsheets. Monitor spreadsheets for errors and perform quality checks, following up with staff when needed.
The individuals must be proficient in data entry with a high degree of accuracy and attention to details.
Be able develop tools for tracking, analyzing and forecasting financials data for all projects
Actively participates in JAMIS implementation meetings, serves as point person for updating status tracker, monitoring template uploads, and gathering and taking notes.
Monitors general ledger activity for JAMIS for implementation.
Identifies miscoded entries and prepares journal entries to the general ledger as needed
Support Senior Director in maintaining data in JAMIS Prime ERP.
Ability to review and analyze financial reports
Qualifications:
2+ years in a similar position providing administrative/office and customer service support.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL Project Setup and/or JAMIS Prime is preferred
Advanced MS Excel skills (advanced formulas, functions V-LOOKUP and pivot tables), familiarity with SQL Server and database reporting.
Experience with system implementation and working with large data sets is preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Financial data analysis, including the ability to analyze data, identify trends, generate reports, data merging and supplemental data sources using automated reporting applications
Experience grants/contracts is preferred
