How you will contribute to LifeNet Health's success:
The Sourcing Engineer is responsible for sourcing and negotiating business-critical supplies, equipment, and services from new suppliers for LifeNet Health on a global level while ensuring compliance with existing Sourcing Policies and requirements. This position will have significant authority to make decisions and create/manage aspects of critical supply chains.
What you'll do:
Acts as the primary sourcing specialist for all new global LifeNet Health requirements under the guidance of the Sr. Manager, Global Souring and Services.
Ensures construction of solid Supply Chains for high cost/risk materials related to LifeNet Health production and research processes.
Leads the LifeNet Health Value Analysis teams for supply/supplier shifts and approvals in support of risk mitigation efforts for assigned complex material categories and services.
As a recognized Subject Matter Expert, provides significant expertise in a high-risk field relevant to LifeNet Health processes (final packaging, custom solutions, complex services, etc.).
Negotiates Strategic Supplier agreements (pricing tiers, inventory levels, supply chain creation) for complex materials and services as a member of the Sourcing and Service Group within the Procurement function.
Assists the Sr. Manager, Global Sourcing and Services in High Value/High Risk materials and Project Management as required.
What you'll bring (Minimum Requirements):
Bachelor's Degree Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or relevant master's degree in Supply Chain/Industrial Engineer preferred
CPSM Certification from the Institute of Supply Management. Obtained within two (2) years in position
3 years' experience in operational functions including modern sourcing and procurement
5 years' Experience/expertise in a relevant high cost/risk category preferred
2 Years Strategic Planning / Supply Chain Management
1 Year Experience using a Sourcing system
2 years demonstrated experience using SAP and/or Ariba preferred
1 year experience in an FDA-based regulated industry

Proficient with Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Suite Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Project preferred.

Relationship Management: Builds and sustains partnerships across organizational boundaries and functions as well as outside the organization to achieve common goals and outcomes

Attention to Detail: Able to perform tasks thoroughly and with care; checks work to ensure high degree of accuracy/completeness and early/on-time delivery
Individual Development: Willingness to embrace and follow through on continuous learning
Organizational Skills: Ability to plan, implement and monitor assignments effectively to meet the needs of the business
Contract Documents: Ability to understand, review and revise complex contract documents and Financial reports (D&B)
Strategic Thinking: Strategic planning and interfacing especially for complex or critical products. Impact of regulatory changes on internal processes and products Clear, comprehensive understanding of the link between department/function and business strategy
