Assistant Director for Talent Recruitment

The Assistant Director for Talent Recruitment leads the Human Resources Department’s strategic recruitment and staffing initiatives through effective development of initiatives, outreach, and operational management; develops creative and effective marketing, sourcing and selection processes to drive success in recruitment and retention outcomes; promotes and drives diversity and inclusivity in all selection processes; and builds and maintains strong relationships with search committees and departments. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with minimum of 4 years of experience in HR, academic administration or nonprofit management with an expertise in Talent Acquisition and a demonstrated capability in recruiting or a combination of education and experience from which a similar skill set would be obtained. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in web-based recruiting tools, including social media and job boards, and applicant tracking systems such as Workday is essential. A proven record of developing and effectively managing recruitment programs, projects, and initiatives is desired. Must have the ability to prioritize work, and manage multiple tasks and projects. The ability to influence others, gather information from individuals and groups, build collaborative relationships and develop rapport within HR and across the university is critical to the incumbent’s success. Proficiency with MS Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and a strong knowledge of Workday HCM, or a willingness to actively learn Workday HCM, is expected. Types of Work: Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 - 4:30, with occasional evening and weekend hours. Benefit Eligible FLSA: Exempt Weekly Hours: 35 Minimum Pay: $63,821.00. Pay commensurate with experience. |
