| Acute Care Hospital - Adult Physical Therapist Assistant. Ability to treat individuals in a hospital setting with a wide variety of medical and surgical conditions.Required to work on weekend day a month and one Holiday a year. Demonstrates essential skill in the use of treatment modalities, equipment and protocols. Performs reassessments according to state and facility guidelines, adjusting treatment plan accordingly. Adheres to department policy regarding time frame, appropriate form and content of written rehabilitation documentation. Communicates effectively with patients, family, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors and outside contacts.
