| Develops and manages program and departmental planning, budgeting and administration. Directs operations and functions of utility systems within the hospital, to include planning, installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, bio-medical, environmental and structural systems. Ensures a reliable and safe environment for patients, visitors, staff, and physicians using the premises. Manages the documentation of state, local, federal and JCAHO standards or codes to ensure compliance with the applicable requirements. Provides direction and management to direct reports and all employees in department. Handles employee relations and staff development for direct reports. Develop goals and manages fiscal activities of the department.
