| Meets or exceeds the senior staff competency by using advanced clinical expertise in patient evaluation, treatment and documentation. Uses this advanced clinical expertise in order to promote staff competency and development in all clinical skill areas. Functions with the knowledge and skills of an advanced clinician who is sought out by others for co-treatment, training, coaching and mentoring. Closely monitors staff development and initiates clinical mentoring. (all evaluated by observation and feedback) Demonstrates advanced communication skills necessary for providing feedback in coaching and mentoring, problem solving, conflict resolution, and facilitation of group interactions as evidenced by observation and feedback. Designs and coordinates educational opportunities to address staffs? needs as evidenced by observation and feedback. Demonstrates leadership skills in decision making, critical thinking, creativity and teamwork and serves as a role model to the department as evidenced by observation and feedback. Completes all administrative and other responsibilities in support of the operating Unit. Preferred areas of specialty include but are not limited to: Neurological disorders (CVA, TBI, progressive diseases), Traumatic/Non-traumatic spinal injury, Vestibular evaluation/treatment, Cardiopulmonary, seating and positioning, Neuro Our commitment to keeping patients safe means there's no safer place for you to work.
