HIV Grants Manager

The Inova Juniper Program (IJP) is Northern Virginia's largest provider of HIV/AIDS care. We offer all aspects of primary medical care and mental health, substance abuse, and case management services to HIV positive individuals. The Program also houses an HIV prevention program, and a healthcare worker education program. Nearly all services of IJP are grant funded.

We are looking for a candidate to develop, write, edit, and administer grants. This involves responding to requests for proposals for new and established grant opportunities, liaising with contract monitors, managing expenses, delivering data and narrative reports, and overseeing data collection, entry, and management. The role supervises the grants and data team members and works closely with the other managers to address grant-related issues that pertain to their team functions.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Develops and maintains productive relationships with an active portfolio of internal system-wide clients in the pursuit of grant funding.
  • Effectively engages Inova program, clinical and research staff in the pursuit of grant funding and works externally with funders and collaborators to increase grant awards.
  • Oversees a team of professionals in the implementation of grant funding strategies.
  • Ensures efficiency and fiscal responsibility.
  • The Senior Director pursues increased federal, state and foundation grant funding to advance Inova's mission and vision.
