Forest Hills of DC is recruiting for an Executive Director/Administrator who can provide FHDC with:
Strategic, visionary, and innovative leadership.
The ability to plan, strategize and execute the vision of FHDC.
Core leadership skills to engage, inspire, and lead staff and community.
Business acumen and a strong ability to create and execute a strategy that results in the sustained financial health of the organization.

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Ability to understand and embrace market changes to position Forest Hills positively.
Strong entrepreneurial and creative skills in building partnerships and maintaining strategic relationships to place Forest Hills in the senior care market favorably.
Proven ability to establish credibility as a sector leader.
Ability to develop and use data as a driver of strategy.
Ability to understand key industry drivers of financial performance and with that knowledge establish systems, processes, and policies with outcome measures.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to connect with and support community, staff, and the Board of Trustees with the highest levels of transparency and integrity.
Demonstrated experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion programs and strategies.
Ability to inspire to action through their influence.
Strategic Planning and Business Development:
Ability to promote FHDC and build partnerships with local, regional, national constituencies.
Experience in strategic planning and execution.
Ability to develop high quality short and long-term business strategies.
Knowledge of marketing-communications and public relations principles, techniques, and practices.
Experience in formulating policy and implementing new strategies.
Completed Six Sigma; Baldrige Excellence Framework as it relates to healthcare/long term care.
Oversight of Operations:
Ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
Skill in establishing and guiding work teams that can successfully collaborate on strategic initiatives.
Exceptional business skill and fund development track record.
Experience in oversight of budget, revenue, and expense management resulting in a positive and growing bottom line.
Experience overseeing business operations within an organization that produced results consistent with the overall strategy and mission of the organization.
Ability to initiate and move forward tech strategies to amplify FHDC’s digital presence.
Knowledge of Federal and DC Regulations
Understanding of all relevant Federal regulations for skilled nursing facilities, nursing facilities, and assisted living communities.
Understanding of Federal reimbursement system for skilled nursing facilities.
Awareness of the impact of DC regulations for skilled nursing facilities and nursing facilities and assisted living communities.
An advanced degree in the health or social sciences, or a concentration in business is necessary.
Advanced training and experience in long-term care administration.
Current, unencumbered DC Nursing Home Administrator license or a Nursing Home Administrator license transferable to DC.

The Executive Director/Administrator reports to the Board of Trustees Chair and Executive Committee of FHDC.
