The Partnership for Public Service is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that strives for a more effective government for the American people. Collaborating in a nonpartisan stance with various stakeholders who have a shared vision for a more effective government, the Partnership serves as a bridge between administrations, Congress, federal agencies, and the private sector to bring together diverse perspectives, identify forward-thinking solutions, and put them into action.
Since its founding in 2001, the Partnership has been comprised of mission-oriented staff, who are diverse in experience and driven to help solve critical federal management challenges. As the organization continues to grow and further its impact, the Partnership currently seeks a Vice President for Research, Analysis, and Evaluation to provide strategic vision and leadership for its high-quality research and content development. This VP will serve as an integral member of the senior leadership team and oversee the creation of the Partnership’s research agenda, production of actionable research products, strategic use of data and evaluation and cultivation of relevant stakeholder relationships.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate an understanding of the importance of public service and a deep commitment to the Partnership’s mission. She/He/They will bring at least ten years of experience developing strategies for and stewarding the production of high-quality research products, preferably covering topics relevant to the federal government. The new VP will be an experienced manager who excels at supporting, mentoring and motivating a diverse staff; developing structures and processes that facilitate efficient and effective communication across a diverse body of stakeholders; and planning, tracking and guiding multiple ongoing projects from initial conceptualization to the timely delivery of high-quality products.
