About Goodwin House
Goodwin House Palliative Care and Hospice grew from a need within our retirement communities. Residents expressed a desire to have Goodwin House provide services that enable residents at the end of life to live their last days at home with dignity and in comfort. Goodwin House Hospice was founded in 1998, and later expanded to include palliative care.In 2016, we extended our hospice services, and we now provide the same end-of-life care, dignity, compassion and respect to individuals ages 18+ living in their own homes throughout Northern Virginia. Our team members are medical practitioners trained in these areas of specialized care. We work in a team setting, providing patients, their families and their caregivers with physical, emotional and spiritual care and support. We tailor our services to meet the needs and wishes of both our patients and their families, and we are reachable 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
