The advancement coordinator role in our Arlington office is an ideal position for an administrative professional interested in nonprofit, mission-driven work in a fast-paced environment. You’ll learn about fundraising and higher education administration at the oldest university in the country, working in the heart of Ballston. The advancement coordinator reports to the senior director of regional advancement for DC Metro and supports the work of the entire DC Metro regional advancement team as well as advancement colleagues based in the Arlington office. You’ll provide administrative and project management support to members of the DC Metro regional advancement team and other advancement staff in the Arlington office. Your work will include reporting and records/data management as well as general office operations. You’ll also collaborate with advancement and campus colleagues based in Williamsburg and travel to Williamsburg for work events throughout the year.
