The George Washington University invites applications for a tenure line faculty position at the rank of full professor who will serve as the Director of the Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration, beginning as early as fall 2019. The Trachtenberg School is ranked among the top fifteen graduate programs in public affairs in the nation. We offer master's degrees in public administration, public policy, and environmental resource policy, as well as graduate certificates in nonprofit management, budget and public finance, and environmental resource policy. We also offer a PhD in Public Policy and Public Administration. The Trachtenberg School is housed within the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences with 21 budgeted faculty and over 450 degree and certificate candidates each year.
Applicants must hold a doctorate and have a substantial record of scholarly accomplishment. Applicants must also possess prior experience in administrative positions in higher education or major research organizations.
