The Lupus Foundation of America (LFA) has recently undergone a comprehensive implementation for the CRM, fundraising and marketing platforms. The Database Administrator (DBA) will function as a core liaison between the Data team and the fundraising staff. A collaborative spirit is essential to help make this system adoption successful and to help define and enforce new business rules and best practices. The DBA will work closely with the Director and is responsible for report creation and generation, and ensuring the integrity of donor data in the LCRM.
As a member of the Development & Fundraising team, the DBA will help facilitate the adoption of the systems across the organization, serving as a subject-matter expert on key procedures and functionality. The DBA will work closely with the Director and is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of gifts, responsible for establishing business rules, maintaining documentation of data and reporting protocols, and assisting in the development and implementation of best practices for the management of Foundation databases including the assurance of database policies and procedures, data integrity, data extraction, report customization and analysis, and end-user training and support. Responsibilities include importing and exporting of data, extracting and analyzing data, report writing, data mapping, documenting database changes, and making sure that the database effectively captures donor information and generates accurate financial and analytical reports. Broad responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, Donor Support, Reporting and Analytics, and Partnerships and Integration.
