-Education degree and 8 years teaching experience (or equivalent experience) required.
-Experience coaching teachers in a school setting
-Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Education, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or related field preferred
-Strong background in educational technology and STEM fields, particularly at the middle school level
-Strong history of innovative teaching practices and building student agency
-History of working with flipped classroom model
-Ability to clearly communicate and inspire others to think about how digital technology supports learning
-Experience developing and delivering STEM professional development (online engagement experience preferred)
-Embraces and has experience with design thinking, engaging students with challenges and STEM mindsets
-Excellent oral, written and multimedia communication skills and relationship-building skills
-Ability to take a leadership role and empower others to do the same
-Eager, creative, self-starter, multi-tasker, team player; strong work ethic, high standards, integrity
-Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage competing tasks, deadlines, requirements, and decisions
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-Ability to work effectively, cooperatively and respectfully with staff, parents, students and community members
-A passion for education, a team mentality, creativity, and a positive “can-do” “yes-and” spirit
