Posting Summary: University Advancement is hiring a Development Researcher.
The Development Researcher will conduct extensive research to identify prospective donors for the University. He/she will compile, analyze, and verify biographical and financial information, and they develop comprehensive reports on potential donor prospects. The Development Researcher will organize and present information in comprehensive, standardized reports which are used to evaluate prospective donors, to determine the potential for productive relationships with the University, and to develop successful cultivation and solicitation strategies. He/she will also compile and distribute profiles for use by development officers, campaign leadership, and executive leadership.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a research or writing role; have an ability to analyze complex financial information and forms; meet deadlines; and have knowledge of relational databases to perform queries and create reports. Experience with prospect research and/or business/technical writing or library science preferred.

Must have the ability to handle many simultaneous long and short term projects.
Must have the ability to handle rush requests and meet deadlines.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated ability in prospect research or business writing.
